Museum zu Allerheilligen Schaffhausen

Switzerland

Museum zu Allerheiligen, located in the picturesque old town of Schaffhausen, brings together archaeology, history, art, and natural history under one roof.

Housed in the former Benedictine monastery of Allerheiligen (All Saints) in the heart of the picturesque city of Schaffhausen, the museum preserves the remnants of its monastic past alongside important works of art from the 15th century as well as contemporary art.

The abbey also includes the largest Romanesque cathedral in Switzerland, a magnificent cloister and an enchanting herb garden – one of the largest public gardens in Switzerland.
